I am recently retired from the U. S. Office of Management and Budget, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
My research centers on applications of the demand revealing process
as a "solution" to the "free rider" problem in public economics.
See my Public Goods
Home Page for a link to a recent reprint, with
updated material, of my 1980 book.
In addition to my work, I have written essays on ethics, politics and political economy from a eudaemonological perspective. See Edward Coverdale's Homepage, A Stroll With Edward Coverdale and Confessions of A Geoist.

Anticipating a Trip? Go here for a stimulating, exotic "virtual tour" as an alternative to Washington, D. C. and its environs. It is the next best thing to actually being there.
Go here also for an exotic local exhibit.
